Code Uploaded

Last night I was able to upload the code into Subversion and made a few mods. It's essentially a skeleton application for right now. I'll post more on the requirements as we go forward. I spent the rest of the time last night browsing other technology's user group sites to get a good lay of what would be expected.

Steve Rittler's Gravatar key things to keep in mind:
- simple (no password) RSVP for event attendance
- quick report generation of "who's coming"
- easy "spam the world" tools for html and plain text messages
- simple content management, which requires some easy way to get images/pdfs/files put up on the server.

so maybe a farcry-based solution? i'm biased though ;-)

Phil Duba's Gravatar Steve, you are absolutely right. I was actually thinking something more blog like, but instead of categories, you have something like items which are presentations or meetings or jobs, that type of stuff.
